Offering top quality, local, certified organic produce to
southeast Pennsylvania.
2013 CSA SEASON
"I learned how to provide top quality organic produce to
wholesale customers while working for Paradise Organics, a
standard-setting organic farm in Lancaster County since 1980. Since
launching my own business in 2007, I have provided that same top
quality produce directly to eaters. The vegetables in Wimer's Organics
CSA are grown at the Paradise farm and its sister farm in East Earl,
PA, where I now rent land. Our CSA is a cooperative effort of three
families on these two farms. We are all working together to provide a
full range of certified organic vegetables and pastured eggs throughout
the Pennsylvania growing season. Between the two farms we have 15 acres
in vegetable production including two greenhouses and three movable high
tunnels. It is very important to me to provide you with the safest and
highest quality food, fresh from the farm."

CSA DETAILS
- Vegetable Shares
The Summer share covers May through August for a total of 18 weeks. Enjoy lots of salad and crisp greens to start off in the spring, transitioning to ripe tomatoes and many other favorites throughout the summer. The Fall share picks up in September and is great for students at college and university. A surprising number of vegetables can still be harvested in the fall. Expect some delicious meals including winter squash, sweet potatoes, and fresh broccoli and cauliflower. The last week will feature items suitable for your Thanksgiving meal.
You can purchase the Summer or Fall shares separately, or get them combined in our 30 week long All Season share.
Share sizes- Share boxes
will usually have 8 items, but will vary as the harvest
dictates. A Weekly Share is expected to feed 2-4 people, depending on how
often you cook and your household's appetite. Weekly Share members receive a box every week. Biweekly Share members receive a box every other week. Biweekly Share members may not receive the complete variety of vegetables due to the every other week schedule; we'll do our best.
Boxes - We pack your share in a re-usable waxed
produce box
for maximum freshness. Each week when you pick up your share, please
return the box to the host site for reuse.
