Our winter farmers' markets are open and ready for you find. Join us at the markets every week and watch the seasons change. Meet the people who grow and make the food that nourishes yourself, your family, and your friends. 

Most food stands accept credit and debit cards.

Many of our markets are only open seasonally, usually from May to Thanksgiving. Below, we first list the markets that are open now and then list the seasonal farmers' markets that will re-open in 2020.

WEDNESDAYS

University Square: 10am-5pm. 36th & Walnut Streets in front of the Penn Bookstore.

Producers at market: Beechwood Orchards, Big Sky Bakery, The Raw Spa, and Waffles for Tourette. PennCash & Dining Dollars accepted during the fall and spring semesters, not for the summer season.

This market returns on January 15th when the Spring Term begins.

EVERY SATURDAY

Rittenhouse Square: Saturdays, winter hours 10am-2pm, 18th & Walnut Streets.

One of the largest farmers’ market in Philadelphia, over 25 local farmers and food artisans every Saturday during the growing season.

Bryn Mawr:  From January to end of March, the market is open the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays 10am-12pm. We return to our weekly 9am-1pm schedule in April.

The Fountain: Wednesdays 3pm-7pm, at 11th and Tasker Streets, at The Singing Fountain on Passyunk Avenue.

Jefferson: Thursdays 11am-3pm, at 925 Chestnut Street. Re-opens in late March 2020 with PetAl Plants & Flowers; McCann's Farm and Aurora Grace return in May 2020.

Mt Airy: Thursdays 2-6pm, on Carpenter Lane at Greene Street, across from the Weaver's Way Co-op. Re-opens in June 2020.

Gorgas Park: Fridays 3-7pm, at Ridge Avenue and Acorn Street in Gorgas Park in the Roxborough neighborhood. Re-opens in May 2020.

FARMERS AND FOOD ARTISANS

If you are interested in selling items you produce at our farmers' markets, please return to the home page and click on Sell Local Food.

Our markets are producer only - with very few exceptions. All of the farmers and food artisans from the Philadelphia area must grow, raise, or produce the items they sell thus providing market communities with fresh foods produced in the region. For new food artisans: you must use locally grown and raised products in your recipes in order to be eligible for Farm to City markets.
