Wild Fox Farm raises vegetables and meats using regenerative farming practices. We offer 36 weeks of traditional Vegetable CSA memberships, pasture-raised and grass-fed meats, snack sticks, and jarred items from our farm. We also partner with a growing number of excellent local producers for additional retail food items.
The Story. Since day one, Wild Fox Farm has been fueled by the intimate and relentless devotion of Ben and Karah Davies. With their 2012 purchase of 41 acres in Pennsylvania's Butter Valley, their vision to see the land enriched and productive has led to continued expansion of Wild Fox Farm's product offerings , more land purchases, leases and strategic partnerships. Many local chefs, foodies and families now rely on the farm for year-round sustenance and, as the land is regenerated, so are the lives of the community that it supports. The farm team has grown and flourished as well in recent years adding Nadine Davies, Sarah Metzler, Kay Ehst, Andy Andrews and Jennifer Eck. Wild Fox Farm now works with a handful of restaurants in the Lehigh Valley area, sells at the Emmaus Farmers Market, offers seasonal CSA memberships, and ships its products nationally out of its online store.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a farming model in which community members pledge support to the farm at the beginning of the season. In return, they pickup a share of the harvest every week. The growers and members provide mutual support in their food production, and both partners share in the risks and rewards of small-scale farming (e.g. weather, disease, pests verses fresh, nutritious, and bountiful veggies). CSA restores the lost connection between people and agriculture by providing an opportunity for members to be directly connected to how their food is grown. On Farm Pick-up
Each week members enjoy a market style "free choice" CSA pick-up.
You select the vegetables yourself according to your family’s eating habits and taste preferences. The quantity of vegetables that you take is meant to meet the weekly needs of your family for fresh consumption. (If you are interested in preserving or ordering extra items for special occasions, just let us know and we can arrange a bulk order.) Quantities and varieties fluctuate throughout the year.
Please bring your own bags each week to fill with fresh veggies. When you arrive at the farm, there will be a sign-in sheet where you will check off a box by your name. Vegetables will be displayed with labels and you will be responsible for filling your own bag. There may be limited amounts of certain vegetables if they are in short supply. U-pick crops (see variety list) will be available for on farm pickup only. Wild Fox Farm eggs and meat are available for purchase as well, and shareholders receive a 10% discount on all WFF purchases
These shares are equivalent to the Small Share size (we recommend purchasing 2 shares if you need more veggies) and will be pre-bagged and placed in wooden crates, in a safe, accessible location, at a partnering business. You must commit to one pick up location for the share season, so we know how many shares to deliver at each location. Simply remove the bags from their crates and leave the crates at the pickup site. (We do not charge a delivery fee for this share option. Pickup shareholders do not receive U-pick crops or exercise “free-choice” in their produce selection).
Each week you can expect to receive an e-mail with a harvest list for that week, any updates from your farmers, as well as a few recipes using the vegetables that we are harvesting that week. We also send out any emergency notifications over e-mail.
You may request to receive a double share the week before or after your vacation week. Please let us know on Monday of the week you would like to double up on. Otherwise, feel free to send friends or family in your place to pick up your share.
Regular Share: $360 ($30/week for 12 weeks
Small Share: $240 ($20/week for 12 weeks)
You may join for 1 or more CSA seasons. Mix and match CSA seasons to suit your family’s lifestyle needs. (i.e. Summer & Winter – Summer, Fall & Winter – Fall & Winter)
To secure your share, we require a $100 deposit and your completed sign-up form. Deposits can be made in cash or check (made out to Wild Fox Farm), or online at mkt.com/wild-fox-farm. You may choose to pay in full by the 1st of the first month of your season, or in three installments; 1/3 of your total due by the 1st of each month.
On the Farm
You are always welcome at the farm! We will have a few seasonal Shareholder Potluck picnics, as well as a few workdays when shareholders are invited to participate in projects on the farm like garlic harvest, onion harvest and potato harvest.
