Winter Harvest is an online buying club that has just concluded its now 15th season!
Created by Farm to City, Winter Harvest aims to provide Philadelphia’s communities with access to fresh, locally produced food during the winter and spring months (November-April) when most farmers’ markets are closed.
By ordering through Winter Harvest, you are able to use your food dollars to support your health and get fresh, delicious food, support local farmers and food artisans, and become part of a growing movement that promotes farmer welfare and environmental stewardship!
We hope you share our objective of supporting family farms and small food businesses, through the combined purchasing power that Winter Harvest provides you with.
Trust – Our commitment to YOU: All Winter Harvest products are from local farms or prepared by local artisans.
Fresh – Over 150 Winter Harvest products are harvested from greenhouses or high tunnels right before delivery.
Local – All of our seasonal produce, dairy, meat, poultry, and eggs are sourced within 150 miles of Philadelphia.
Health – Grown using sustainable practices, your harvest is to properly nourish you & your loved ones.
Taste – Experience the great flavors of our products as they are grown for taste and freshness, instead of shelf life.

Since produce in the winter months is limited to greenhouse greens and root crops, many of the products offered though Winter Harvest are meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy – items that are available year round but not always available at farmer’s markets.
You can expect to find an array of leafy greens, root crops, meat, poultry, eggs, milk, yogurt, cheese, herbs, preserves, baked goods, honey, and more!

To become a Winter Harvest member…
1. Create a Farm to City account by registering here (https://farmtocity.org/my-account/create-account/)
2. Once completed, click on the Join Now icon on the Winter Harvest’s official program page to request membership
3. Select your desired Winter Harvest pick-up location and agree to the Terms & Conditions
4. You will receive an email shortly after confirming your membership into Winter Harvest, allowing you to order, make payments,track your order history, etc.
5. As a Winter Harvest member, you will receive weekly emails regarding bi-monthly order periods and other important information
